Automatically collected data

The site runs on Railway infrastructure. The server may keep standard access logs (IP address, browser type, visit time) for security, abuse prevention and site operation. They are kept only for as long as needed for those purposes.

Cookies and consent

When ads or traffic measurement are active, we may use cookies and similar technologies. In the European Economic Area, the Google Funding Choices message lets you manage advertising consent. Until consent is given we apply Consent Mode with advertising and analytics denied by default.

Advertising (Google AdSense)

Once monetisation is enabled the site may display ads delivered by Google AdSense. Google, as a provider, may use cookies to personalise and measure ads only in line with your consent and applicable law.

Analytics

To measure traffic we may use Plausible Analytics, which works without cookies and does not create user profiles.

Newsletter and email delivery

If you subscribe to the newsletter, we process your email address, selected language, subscription token and subscription status to send the digest and handle one-click unsubscribe requests. The subscription data is stored in the site's PostgreSQL database hosted on Railway.

The digest is delivered through Resend, which acts as our email-delivery processor for recipient data. Resend may process the recipient email address and message content to provide delivery services. Resend states that customer data may be stored in the United States and that its DPA includes Standard Contractual Clauses for applicable EU-to-US transfers.

We keep an active subscription until you unsubscribe. After unsubscribe, the record may be retained for up to 12 months to honour the opt-out and prevent unwanted messages, after which it is automatically deleted.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction or deletion of your data, or restriction of processing; where provided by law, you may also request portability or object to processing. You may lodge a complaint with the competent data-protection authority.
