About
World News No Spin (globbrief.com) is a news service that presents the most important global events — politics, economy, technology and science — clearly and concisely, for readers who want the facts of a story without any single outlet's framing.
How we work
Every story is a synthesis of several independent sources covering the same event. We compare the reporting of different outlets and, where they differ, we say so explicitly. This avoids pushing any single newsroom's narrative and gives readers a fuller picture.
Editorial standards
These are summarised below; our full Editorial Policy sets out sourcing, verification, independence and our use of AI in detail.
- Two-source minimum. We do not publish a story unless at least two independent, credible outlets have reported it. Every article lists all the sources it draws on.
- Attribution. Claims are attributed to the outlet that reported them ("Reuters reported", "Bloomberg said"), so readers can always tell who said what.
- Uncertainty named explicitly. When reports diverge or facts are unconfirmed, the article says so instead of papering over it.
- No clickbait. Headlines promise only what the article delivers — no exaggeration, no manufactured outrage.
- Technology-assisted, human-directed. We use automation and AI tools to monitor coverage, draft syntheses and translate. Editorial rules, source selection criteria and quality checks are set and reviewed by the publisher, and articles that fall short of our sourcing bar are rejected or unpublished.
Sources and rights
We publish our own summaries with links to all the materials used. We do not copy source content; quotations are kept to the necessary minimum. All rights to the original materials belong to their publishers. Links to sources carry the nofollow attribute.
Updates
The service is refreshed twice a day so it reflects the most important developments. The latest stories are on the home page, with topical selections in the category sections.
