Editorial Policy
World News No Spin (globbrief.com) is an independent news service published and edited by Maciej Baniewicz. This page sets out the standards every briefing is held to before it goes live.
Our mission
To help readers understand the day's most important global events accurately and quickly, by synthesising reporting from multiple credible sources into clear, neutral briefings — politics, economy, technology, science, sport and culture.
Sourcing
- Each briefing draws on two or more independent, established sources — major news agencies and reputable outlets. A story that cannot clear this bar is not published.
- We link to the original sources for every story so readers can verify and read further.
- We prioritise primary sources — official statements, court documents, data releases — where available.
- We do not publish single-source claims on contested topics without flagging them as unconfirmed.
Accuracy and verification
- Facts are cross-checked across sources before publication.
- Numbers, names, dates and quotes are checked against the original reporting.
- We clearly distinguish fact, claim / allegation and analysis.
Independence and impartiality
- We have no political affiliation and take no side in partisan disputes.
- We avoid emotive or loaded framing; headlines describe, they don't inflame.
- Commercial relationships — advertising, affiliate links — never influence editorial content. Any sponsored or affiliate content is labelled.
Use of AI and automation
- We use software tools, including AI, to monitor coverage, draft syntheses and translate across languages.
- No briefing is published without human editorial review against the source material.
- The publisher takes responsibility for everything we publish, regardless of the tools used to produce it. Original wording, source selection and the value added over a bare aggregation are what make each briefing our own work.
Advertising and affiliate disclosure
- This site is supported by advertising and, where relevant, affiliate links.
- Affiliate links may earn us a commission at no extra cost to you. They do not affect which stories we cover or how we report them.
Corrections and contact
We fix mistakes openly — see our Corrections policy. For questions about our editorial process, or to report an error, email contact [at] globbrief.com . The desk behind these standards is described on the Editorial Desk page, and our broader approach on the About page.
